I am an EMDR trauma therapist, educator, and child, adolescent & adult psychiatrist with 20 years of clinical practice in various settings. I have worked with people of all ages and diverse backgrounds who have sought support for a wide range of reasons. And I have delivered mental health, anti-racism, and trauma-informed care training to frontline workers, including teachers, healthcare staff and humanitarian workers.
My areas of expertise include trauma and PTSD, loss and grief, anxiety and phobias, mood disturbances, post-partum and parenting support. I have a particular interest supporting survivors of domestic violence, refugees & asylum seekers, war veterans, frontline journalists, and international humanitarian workers.
I make use of various types of psychotherapy based on your needs and the most appropriate fit, including Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy.
